Driving Employee Engagement and Capturing ROI on Employee Recognition
Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) January 25, 2010 -- Wednesday, January 27th, Diamond H Recognition (http://www.diamondh.com) will be presenting a Webinar entitled “How to Get Started with Enterprise Total Recognition.” (http://www.worldatwork.org/waw/adimLink?id=35860) This event, offered through WorldatWork, is an educational event designed to take an introductory look at the enterprise total recognition approach and how it can be a catalyst to transform an organization. A new measurement framework, the Recognition Maturity Index™, will also be presented.
Much has been said about the importance recognition plays in motivating and engaging a workforce. This event will show how an enterprise approach to recognizing employees’ work can transform an organization into a high performance workplace (http://www.diamondh.com/smart.asp). Whether a company already has recognition programs in place, or is just getting started, the Webinar is designed to help companies at all levels understand their current strengths and weaknesses as they relate to employee recognition, and identify opportunities to improve their approach.
As part of the Webinar, Diamond H will present a new measurement tool, the Recognition Maturity Inde™x. This tool was created by Diamond H employee recognition thought leader, Kimberly Smithson-Abel as a way to assess a company’s current level of maturity in regards to employee recognition.
“Based on my experience a majority of companies fall into Generation One. This generation is characterized by manual processes and a siloed approach to employee recognition. The concept of the Recognition Maturity Index™ is to provide recognition leaders with a framework to better understand where their organization is on the continuum in order to develop steps towards implementing recognition programs with a higher level of ROI,” stated Smithson-Abel.
The Recognition Maturity Index™ is comprised of three generations, each with its own set of features that characterize that generation, as well as key change drivers that are most likely at work internally within an organization. A white paper with an even more in-depth look at this concept and framework will be provided to Webinar attendees.
The Webinar will be presented by Diamond H thought leader Kimberly Smithson-Abel along with Diamond H enterprise recognition specialist Tyler Gentry. Tyler has over a decade of experience within the incentive industry, and has helped develop recognition solutions for a number of global organizations.
